PENROSE FILMs passion is to tell stories with an entertaining approach and a high-toned content. We choose projects independent from genre, but always with the intention to find a significant story which should be told.

PENROSE FILM GMBH & CO.KG was established in August 2008 and is based in Berlin, Germany. In its core business PENROSE FILM produces fiction and documentary features for cinema.

With the foundation of PENROSE FILM GmbH & Co.KG the managing partners and founders Felix Eisele, Julia Kleinhenz and Katja Siegel continue their working relationship, which has been successfully established over two years as producers for the REVERSE ANGLE group.

Between 2006 and 2008 the partners produced several feature films at REVERSE ANGLE, including the award-winning documentary film POOL OF PRINCESSES (Director B. Blümner), the feature film THE HOUSE IS BURNING (Director H. Ernst) shot in the US and the debut THE ARCHITECT (Director I. Weisse). For feature and documentary films produced by PENROSE FILM have a lookl at our projects.

With a joint venture between PENROSE FILM and the Stuttgart based television production house AV MEDIEN, the shareholders of PENROSE FILM established a second film company in 2009: AV MEDIEN PENROSE GMBH. The company’s primary focus is the production of high quality TV productions – documentaries and series – as well as to co-finance the feature film projects of PENROSE FILM.
